Description
Transport Equipment Wiring Harness Workers manufacture wires (wire harnesses) used in transport equipment such as automobiles and aircraft. Based on wiring diagrams and specifications, they cut wires to the specified length, strip the insulation covering, and crimp or solder terminals. Then, they bundle them with binding tape or cable ties, and perform continuity and insulation tests as well as appearance inspections. In addition to repeating tasks on the production line, they may also be involved in quality control and improving work efficiency.
