Tobacco leaf bundlers visually or mechanically sort tobacco leaves that have undergone drying and fermentation processes based on criteria such as color, shape, and moisture content, blend and weigh them according to mixing ratios, and create homogeneous blends (leaf bundles). The work mainly involves standing operations, including operation of dedicated machines and pre-packaging inspections. They create quality records and proceed with work in accordance with safety and health regulations.
Future Outlook
Although demand is declining due to the decreasing smoking rate in Japan, a certain level of demand is expected to continue for high-quality oriented products and those for overseas markets.
