Description
Thermal spray operators use processes such as plasma spraying, arc spraying, and high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) spraying to melt metal or ceramic powder at high temperatures and apply coatings to the surfaces of target objects. Coatings improve wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance, extending the lifespan and enhancing performance of functional parts such as aircraft engine components, automotive parts, and molds. Tasks include managing powder materials and gas pressure, inspecting safety devices, measuring film thickness and hardness, and maintaining and controlling quality.
