Description

Textile products, clothing, and fiber products production equipment operators operate and adjust various production equipment such as spinning machines, looms, knitting machines, and dyeing machines, processing raw yarns and fibers into fabrics and apparel. They start up equipment, change settings, and switch raw materials according to production plans; monitor and inspect for machine abnormalities or malfunctions; and perform daily maintenance and simple repairs. They handle product winding and finishing, conduct visual quality inspections, identify and report causes of defects. They manage work environments in compliance with safety and health standards and create and report records as necessary. They collaborate with teams to improve production efficiency and quality, and may participate in improvement activities in cooperation with equipment maintenance staff or quality control staff.

With the advancement of smart factories utilizing AI and IoT, automation and remote monitoring are increasing, but demand for personnel with advanced machine maintenance skills and quality management abilities is expected to remain or increase.
