Description

The Tea Production Engineer (Development) is responsible for research and development aimed at quality control and flavor improvement in each process from tea leaf selection to manufacturing processes (withering, rolling, fermentation, drying, roasting). They conduct chemical component analysis and sensory evaluation to derive optimal process conditions, and also work on improving production efficiency through improvements in mechanical equipment and introduction of new technologies. Furthermore, they build quality assurance systems based on the Food Sanitation Law and safety standards, and develop healthy functional teas tailored to consumer preferences. By collaborating with farmers and producers, managing manufacturing costs, and repeatedly evaluating and improving prototypes, they play a role in providing competitive products to the market.
