Twister operators use twisting machines to apply the necessary twists to raw yarn and wind it onto bobbins. Following work procedure manuals, they adjust twist count, speed, and tension while operating the machine, collect product samples, and measure twist angle and yarn strength. They detect abnormal yarn or defects, perform machine cleaning and daily inspections, and carry out simple maintenance in the event of breakdowns. As members of the production line, they collaborate with other departments to maintain stable manufacturing processes.

Future Outlook

Although the number of workers is decreasing due to the contraction of the domestic textile industry and the shift to overseas production, there is still expected demand for skilled workers capable of managing automated equipment and quality assurance.
