Description
The beater worker (pulp manufacturing) cooks wood chips under high temperature and pressure with alkali or other chemicals (digestion), removes unnecessary components, and manufactures pulp. Performs operation and monitoring of manufacturing equipment, chemical blending, temperature and pressure management, and sampling and analysis of quality samples. Also required are maintenance inspections and cleaning for safe plant operation and reduced environmental impact, as well as initial response in emergencies.
