Steel On-Site Drafter (Steel Structures) is a job that, prior to installing steel structures at architecture and civil engineering sites, conducts on-site measurements and collates with design drawings, and creates detailed fabrication drawings and construction drawings necessary for fabricating and constructing steel members. Uses 2D CAD or 3D modeling software for drawing, specifying weld symbols, anchor bolt positions, etc. Closely collaborates with design offices, steel factories, and construction managers, and quickly responds to changes in site conditions or design modifications.
