Farriers observe and evaluate the shape and condition of horses' hooves, properly trim them, and fabricate and fit horseshoes. Also important are preventing and improving hoof diseases, adjustments during training or before competitions, and collaboration with veterinarians and trainers. Often, they visit riding clubs or farms for on-site work, requiring physical strength and accuracy.
