Specifically, they perform physicochemical tests such as pH, sugar content, and hardness; component analysis using HPLC or GC; bacterial count measurements using culture media; sensory evaluations of color, taste, and aroma; and checks for foreign matter contamination. They compare inspection results with standard values and report them. In case of non-conformance, they investigate causes, propose improvements, conduct re-inspections, and collaborate with the manufacturing department to support quality assurance. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, JAS standards, and hygiene management (HACCP, GMP) is also required.
