Description

Ship wiring technicians lay and secure electrical wiring inside and outside ships based on drawings at new shipbuilding yards or repair docks, and perform connection work to equipment and control panels. They perform construction considering vibration resistance and waterproof performance, protect and bundle cable wiring, insulation treatment at connection points, and after completion, conduct tests such as insulation resistance measurements and inspections to verify electrical equipment safety. In case of failures, they troubleshoot and handle repairs or replacements. They may also use wiring design support tools or CAD to improve work efficiency and safety.
