Vehicle Vibration Survey Technicians are specialists who install accelerometers and vibration meters under conditions such as running tests or durability tests on railway vehicles, acquire and analyze vibration data. They analyze the collected data using specialized software, identify and evaluate the causes of abnormal vibrations, and report and make recommendations to maintenance and design departments. They are responsible for everything from planning tests, on-site measurements, to preparing reports, contributing to improvements in safety and comfort.
