Service Engineers (Industrial Instrument Manufacturing) are responsible for installing, adjusting, calibrating, periodically inspecting, diagnosing faults, and repairing measuring instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors at customer sites like factories and plants. They perform instrument configuration changes and operational tests, record and report data, and may also confirm specifications with customers or propose improvements. Knowledge of products from various instrument manufacturers, as well as basic knowledge of electrical/electronics, mechanics, and piping, is required. Depending on the site, work may involve high-altitude operations, outdoor work, or emergency responses.
