They work in a wide range of sites including marine civil engineering projects, foundation work for bridge piers and port facilities, ship bottom inspections and maintenance, and laying and inspection of seabed cables and pipelines. Due to the harsh working environment, safety management, teamwork, and precise technical skills are required, and obtaining a diver's license under the Industrial Safety and Health Act is legally mandatory.
