Stone end finishers are craftsmen who smoothly finish the end faces (small ends) of stone processed for architecture or decoration using hand grinding or machine polishing. They measure dimensions with calipers or tape measures, perform rough polishing to finish polishing and buffing, and ensure dimensional accuracy and surface aesthetics. They also select abrasives according to stone characteristics, replace tools, adjust workbenches and machines, and manage safety and hygiene.
