A seihan worker hangs woven fabric on a seihan machine, adjusts the fabric's width and tension to finish it smoothly. Through machine operation, they correct lateral shrinkage of the fabric, visually and tactilely inspect for defects such as dirt and yarn jumps while winding it up. The work is mainly standing, and factory environments may have noise, requiring attention to safety and hygiene. Although routine work is predominant, accuracy and speed are required, playing a part in quality control.
