Description

Second-Class Aircraft Mechanics inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft engines, propellers, main wings, fuselages, electrical and hydraulic systems, and related equipment to ensure aircraft safety. They handle periodic inspections (A-check/B-check, etc.), fault diagnosis, parts replacement, non-destructive testing, maintenance record creation, and issuance of maintenance release certificates. As national qualification holders, they work in compliance with the Aviation Law and related technical standards at maintenance shops, airlines, aircraft manufacturers' maintenance departments, and airport maintenance bases.

Future Outlook

With the recovery of domestic and international air travel demand and the introduction of new aircraft models, demand for aircraft mechanics is expected to remain stable. Furthermore, the spread of next-generation aircraft such as drones and eVTOL will require the acquisition of new maintenance technologies.
