Description
Sardine oil processors receive and wash raw sardines, separate oils and fats by heating and pressing or solvent extraction, refine them through filtration, decolorization, deodorization, degumming, and other processes, and manufacture edible oils and feed oils that meet prescribed quality standards. During the processes, strict temperature, pressure, and concentration management, as well as hygiene management, are required. They also handle machine operation and monitoring of the manufacturing line, quality inspection, maintenance and inspection of machines, and loading/unloading of raw materials and products. There is a lot of standing work in the factory, and since they handle chemicals and high-temperature equipment, safety and hygiene education and acquisition of qualifications are important.

While demand for fish oil (omega-3, etc.) is increasing due to growing health consciousness, automation and labor-saving advancements are improving work efficiency. There is a demand for personnel skilled in high-value-added product manufacturing and machine maintenance technology.
