Description
Ready-mix concrete operators use batch control systems to weigh and charge raw materials such as cement, sand, gravel, and water in appropriate proportions, mix them in mixers, and manufacture high-quality ready-mix concrete. During production, they conduct tests such as slump tests and salt content tests in the quality testing room to check quality. After production, they load pump trucks or bulk trucks in accordance with shipping schedules and adjust deliveries. They also handle periodic inspections and maintenance of plant equipment, troubleshooting, safety and health management, and often work shifts.
