Electrical Staff (Transmission Section) operate and monitor power equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, and distribution boards at railway substations (transmission sections), achieving voltage conversion and stabilization of power supply. Routinely monitor voltage and current in the power system, perform AC/DC switching and circuit switching. Conduct maintenance tasks including monitoring of protective devices, periodic inspections, insulation resistance measurements, contact cleaning, oil replacement, and temperature measurements. In case of failure, quickly diagnose the cause and perform restoration work. 24-hour shift work, responding during nights, early mornings, or emergencies, supporting the essential power supply for railway operations.

With improvements in railway safety and energy conservation, digitization of transmission equipment and introduction of remote monitoring systems are advancing.
