Description
Press molding workers prepare molds (plaster molds or metal molds), fill them with appropriately adjusted clay, and compress using press machines or by hand to form the shape. After forming, excess clay is removed, deburring and finishing are performed, and items are sent to the drying process. During work, clay moisture content and temperature are managed, molds are maintained and cleaned, and accuracy specific to each product is maintained. Work forms vary by scale, such as production lines or small batch production, requiring high attention to detail and a certain level of physical strength.
