Power engine room operators are responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling power equipment (steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, boilers, etc.) within power plants. They follow startup and shutdown procedures, adjust equipment output, conduct regular inspections, respond to alarms and investigate causes in the control room during abnormalities, collaborate with maintenance staff for part replacements and overhauls, and participate in statutory inspections. Since they handle high-voltage electricity and high-temperature, high-pressure steam, safety management and emergency response capabilities are required.
