Description
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Worker (Pharmaceuticals) is a job that manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and formulations (tablets, capsules, injections, etc.) in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Main duties include a series of processes from weighing raw materials, dissolving and blending, filtration and sterilization, aseptic filling, drying and granulation, tablet compression, coating, to packaging. Much of the work is done in clean rooms, and they are also responsible for equipment cleaning and sterilization, hygiene management, thorough prevention of foreign matter contamination, creation and storage of manufacturing records, and assistance in product specification testing. They support stable production through troubleshooting on production lines and process improvement proposals.

Stable demand is expected due to the aging population and advances in new drug development. On the other hand, with the progress of automation and digitalization, manufacturing processes will become more sophisticated, requiring specialized knowledge and digital skills.
