Summary
Manufacturing technician who presses and sinters metal powder to process it into granular (pellet) form.
Description
Pellet workers pulverize metal materials into powder form, shape them into predetermined forms using a press machine, and then heat and fire them in a sintering furnace to produce metal pellets with high wear resistance and dimensional accuracy. They set forming and sintering conditions, manage temperatures, conduct appearance and dimensional inspections after cooling, and remove defective products. They also perform maintenance and periodic inspections on equipment such as press machines and sintering furnaces, create work records, and ensure safety and hygiene.
Future Outlook
Even as the manufacturing industry advances in automation and labor reduction, the demand for technicians who can stably supply high-quality products is expected to continue.
