Optical reader operators process large volumes of paper documents such as invoices, slips, and questionnaires through optical scanners, digitizing information via OCR (character recognition) and barcode reading. After reading, they check for misrecognition or omissions and correct them manually. They import the output data into PCs, save and deliver in the specified format. They also perform device setup, maintenance, and simple troubleshooting for equipment issues, maintaining work efficiency and quality.
