Optical Lens Development Engineer (Excluding Design) is a role that achieves high performance through prototyping, evaluation, material selection, and development of manufacturing processes for lenses used in optical equipment. Based on specifications created by designers, measures aberrations and transmittance using measurement instruments such as interferometers and spectrometers, and analyzes the obtained data. Optimizes polishing conditions and coating methods, and conducts quality control and reliability testing. Requires knowledge of optical simulation software, material properties, and process technology.
