Description
Lead sheathing workers are responsible for the process of applying lead sheaths to the conductors of communication cables and power cables. They heat lead in a lead melting furnace, pass it through a covering machine to uniformly wrap the conductor with lead, and manage quality by adjusting temperature and speed. After forming, they perform dimensional and appearance inspections and hand over to the next process. As it is line work, machine operation skills and knowledge of safety and hygiene are required.
