A job that inspects the quality of products visually or with measuring instruments in the sock manufacturing process and sorts out defective products.

Description

Sock inspectors perform the final process in the sock manufacturing line, conducting visual inspections of finished products and dimensional measurements using calipers, etc., to check for defects such as snags, color unevenness, pattern misalignment, and holes, and select and remove products that do not meet the specified quality standards. The work is mainly standing, requiring accurate inspection of products flowing at a constant speed. They may also record inspection results and provide feedback to process handlers to improve quality. In recent years, automatic inspection devices using cameras and image processing systems are being introduced, but they are responsible for detecting and evaluating minute defects that require human judgment.
