Soap makers react animal and vegetable oils and fats with alkalis such as sodium hydroxide to generate soap, and handle molding, drying, finishing, and packaging. The work consists of weighing raw materials, temperature and pH management in reaction tanks, washing and drying of reaction products, solidification pressing, cutting, addition of fragrances and colors, quality inspection, and packaging processes. Since high temperatures and chemicals are handled, safe operations and precise process management are required.
