Quarantine Officers (excluding doctors and nurses) at borders such as airports and ports conduct health checks, document reviews, temperature measurements, and visual inspections on incoming travelers and imported goods in accordance with the Quarantine Act. As needed, they assist with sample collection under doctors' instructions and transport samples. During infectious disease outbreaks, they handle isolation and disinfection measures according to guidelines, coordinate with relevant agencies, and perform emergency responses, information gathering, and reporting.
