Lubricating oil manufacturing equipment operators use control panels and instrumentation to operate and monitor a series of manufacturing processes from raw material receipt to blending, heating and reaction, separation, dehydration, neutralization, filling, and packaging. They monitor manufacturing conditions (temperature, pressure, flow rate, viscosity) and adjust valves and pumps as necessary. They perform regular equipment inspections, cleaning, and safety device checks, and conduct troubleshooting and reporting when abnormalities occur. They record manufacturing data and daily reports, and collaborate with the quality control department to maintain compliance with standards. They also comply with safety, health, and environmental standards, and engage in equipment maintenance and improvement proposals.
