Description
Glass fiber cutting workers are responsible for the cutting process of intermediate products that process glass fibers used in fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP), etc., into mats or chopped strands. They select blades for the cutting machine, set speed and length, replace and replenish raw material rolls, and inspect the cut products visually or with measuring instruments. In case of machine troubles, they perform initial response or contact maintenance staff, and conduct daily inspections, cleaning, and simple maintenance. Standing work in high-temperature and dusty environments is common, and wearing safety hygiene masks and protective gear is essential. They may also make improvement proposals for production line efficiency and quality improvement.
