Description

Raw material washing workers, in the initial stage of the canned food manufacturing line, wash raw materials such as seafood, vegetables, and fruits using washing equipment or by hand, and remove dirt, mud, and foreign matter. They efficiently wash using water pressure washers, brushes, and detergents, and visually inspect for residues. After work, they are also responsible for cleaning washing tanks and conveyors, recording washing logs, and simple inspections of hygiene management and equipment. They adjust label attachment and input timing in line with the overall process flow to support smooth progression to the next processes of canned filling and heat sterilization.

Future Outlook

Due to increasing awareness of food safety and hygiene, steady demand will continue. Although automation and robotization will advance, the roles of manual detailed checks and hygiene management are expected to remain.
