Description

Formwork carpenters fabricate, install, and dismantle formwork to pour concrete into predetermined shapes at construction and civil engineering sites. They read drawings, measure and process timber or metal materials, and securely fix them using clamps, bolts, and supports. After pouring, they safely and efficiently remove the formwork and prepare the site. The role requires teamwork, safety and health management, skills in high-altitude work, and handling heavy objects.
