Description

Ferrosilicon manufacturing workers use melting equipment such as electric furnaces and converters to melt raw materials including iron ore, coke, and ferrosilicon at high temperatures, adjust to the appropriate silicon content, and produce ferrosilicon alloy. While measuring and analyzing furnace temperature and chemical composition, charge materials and manage reduction reactions. After tapping, perform pouring into molds, inspection of cast products, equipment inspection and maintenance, and safety management. As work is conducted in high-temperature and noisy environments, knowledge and skills in safety and hygiene are essential, and efforts toward process improvement and quality stabilization are also required.
