Description

Exploration and development engineers are experts who use geological and geophysical methods to investigate the distribution of underground resources and evaluate their economic feasibility for mining. They combine various techniques such as on-site boring surveys, sample collection, seismic, gravity, and magnetic surveys, and analyze and visualize data using GIS and 3D modeling software. Based on the obtained information, they formulate exploration plans, conduct resource quantity evaluations and risk analyses, and also perform environmental impact assessments and safety management. They collaborate with survey teams on domestic and international projects and are required to continuously learn and apply the latest technologies and equipment on site.
