Escalator assemblers are specialists who install, assemble, and adjust escalators at construction sites or renovation work sites. They assemble components such as steps, chains, drive units, and handrails according to mechanical drawings and installation manuals, perform horizontal and vertical adjustments, lubrication and brake tests, and running tests. Hoisting operations using cranes and slings, safety management, and coordination with other trades are also important. After completion of installation, they conduct inspections and maintenance work to support long-term safe operation.
