Electronic parts inspectors inspect the appearance, dimensions, and electrical characteristics of electronic components such as substrates and chips using microscopes, magnifiers, automated optical inspection devices (AOI), probe testers, etc. They record inspection results, sort and analyze defective products and report them, and perform simple adjustments and maintenance on inspection equipment. In clean rooms or air-conditioned factory environments, they alternate between standing and sitting work, and since they handle fine parts, good eyesight, manual dexterity, and accuracy are required.
