Dyeing product inspectors are specialists who examine dyed fiber products for color tone, color differences, color unevenness, stains, fraying, and other issues. In addition to visual evaluations under standard light sources, they perform numerical color difference measurements using spectrophotometers and size inspections with dimensional measuring instruments. They also conduct simple tests for fiber color fastness and light fastness, record and report inspection results, sort defective products, and provide feedback to the manufacturing department. Knowledge of quality control techniques and basic color science is required, but in recent years, the introduction of automation and digitalization technologies has improved the efficiency of inspection processes.
