During processing, temperature and humidity are managed, and manual steps such as kneading the surface are included to achieve uniform drying and a soft texture. Finished dried persimmons undergo quality inspection, followed by packaging and boxing before shipment. The work is often seasonal labor from autumn to winter and includes many manual processes.
