After that, they perform deburring, grinding, and surface finishing, followed by attaching seal materials or O-rings and assembly work. Upon completion, they conduct dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, three-dimensional measuring machines, etc., to confirm quality. In the manufacturing site, the ability to accurately read blueprints and appropriately set machine programs and cutting conditions is required. Manufacturing lines range from multi-variety small-lot production to mass production, and shift-based rotating shifts are common. Analyzing causes of defective products within processes, QC activities, and improvement proposals through 5S are also important roles. In recent years, CNC automation and smart factory initiatives utilizing IoT are advancing, and knowledge of production technology and data analysis is also required.
