Description

DL Locomotive Engineers operate diesel locomotives to haul freight or passenger cars and run safely and accurately to their destinations. They conduct vehicle inspections before and after departure, operate engines and brake devices, and communicate with signals and ground equipment. They also handle information exchange using train radio during operation, timetable adjustments, and emergency responses. They create driving records, perform routine simple maintenance and report abnormal areas, and teamwork is required.
