Description
Currency exchange clerks perform domestic and foreign currency exchange operations at bank counters, travel agencies, currency exchange offices, etc. They confirm the type and amount of currency received from customers, calculate the exchange amount applying exchange rates and fees, and accurately deliver the cash. To prevent fraud, they verify cash authenticity and manage denominations, and also handle creation of business records as well as daily and monthly summaries and reports. Simple conversations and customer service in foreign languages may also be required.
