Corrugated cardboard joining workers join pre-cut corrugated cardboard sheets using hot melt adhesive machines or staplers to assemble product boxes. In addition to machine operation, they perform manual fine adjustments and quality inspections, responsible for checking dimensions and shapes, and verifying adhesive strength. To maintain production line efficiency, they also adjust machine settings, perform simple maintenance inspections, and propose improvements to work processes. They work while considering factory safety and health management as well as workplace organization and tidiness (5S).
