Description
Consumer electronic and electrical machinery and equipment inspectors conduct appearance inspections, functional tests, insulation resistance measurements, withstand voltage tests, etc., during the manufacturing process or before shipment of electronic devices and electrical machinery and equipment, to confirm whether products meet design specifications and safety standards (PSE mark, JIS, etc.). They use electrical measuring instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to record measurement results. They analyze abnormal values in measurement data, identify causes of defects, and provide feedback to the manufacturing department as necessary. They work on inspection lines or in dedicated inspection rooms and are also responsible for periodic improvements in inspection procedures and maintenance of inspection jigs.
