Concentrated filament bulb assemblers wind shape-memory tungsten wire called concentrated filament around a prescribed support, place it inside a glass bulb, and are responsible for glass sealing, vacuum evacuation, and rare gas sealing processes. They perform filament assembly by hand or using semi-automatic equipment, and conduct welding of sealing parts, vacuum pump operation, leak inspection, electrical and optical inspections. High-precision manual dexterity and attention are required, and work in clean room environments or static electricity countermeasures may be necessary.
