Communication cable workers lay and wire copper cables and optical fiber cables used in communication networks both indoors and outdoors, performing connections, fixing, and insulation treatments. Based on construction drawings and wiring diagrams, they determine cable routes and carry out installation work on utility poles and inside buildings using aerial work platforms or scaffolding. They conduct continuity tests and signal quality inspections using measuring instruments at connection points, and regularly identify and repair faults and perform maintenance. Safety management and quality control are important, and they work efficiently in teams.
