Civil Engineering Technician (Excluding Design and Construction Management) is responsible for technical tasks such as surveying, geological surveys, material testing, non-destructive testing, and maintenance inspections in social infrastructure like roads, bridges, rivers, and dams. Performs a wide range of duties including analysis of data obtained on-site, preparation of reports, support for construction work, safety and health management, and environmental surveys. Much of the work is outdoors, requiring the ability to respond quickly to weather and terrain conditions. The use of the latest surveying equipment, data analysis tools, drones, and GIS systems is advancing.
