Description
Cartridge manufacturing workers are specialists who manufacture tool parts such as drill chucks and lathe chucks. Based on drawings, they perform cutting and machining of metal using CNC lathes, general-purpose lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines, and measure and adjust dimensions using calipers and micrometers. After machining, they assemble parts, conduct test runs and operational inspections to maintain high precision, and also perform root cause analysis and corrections for defective products. They also contribute to productivity improvement through machine maintenance, upkeep, and improvement proposals in the manufacturing line.
Future Outlook
While some tasks may decrease due to advances in automation and robotics, demand for high-precision parts will continue, and the need for skilled technicians will remain stable. Personnel with CAD/CAM skills and quality management abilities will be sought in the future as well.
