Description
Carpet knitters perform manufacturing tasks to form the pile (nap), which is the surface of carpets, using industrial knitting machines or special needle punch machines. During manufacturing, they conduct quality control to detect and correct fiber misalignments or defects. The completed fabric undergoes cutting, finishing, and edge processing to meet shipping specifications. They also handle machine maintenance and inspection, as well as safety and health management, to achieve both production efficiency and quality.
